Come and spend time with Thom Rouse. In this workshop, Thom will walk you through his process in using Photoshop for more than a post production tool to repair and enhance our photographs. He’ll show you his perspective and techniques in using Photoshop as a blank canvas from which we create an all-digital artifact. He will show you how he draws on the traditions of photography, but also from the traditions of painting, drawing, graphic design and sculpture. This program will consider some of the issure (both technical and mental) that we confront as we evolve from being photographers to becoming digital artists. During this program Thom will present a live demonstration of Photoshop techniques used in the creation of his fine art images.
